This is not an exhaustive list but I hope it gives you some ideas and then Fill in the Volunteer Form  Here

STEERING COMMITTEE
Join the team that manages and monitors everything that happens with this ambitious project. We want people of all ages to represent the community.

SCRIPT RESEARCH TEAM
Are you interested in contributing to the play script, we need people who are interested in any of the following - local history, contemporary issues, research, writing, theatre workshops, interviewing, learning skills to lead,  community soundings, reminiscence workshops, drama searches, people who simply love their community and want to celebrate it.

MARKETING
We need people to run a newsletter, keep a web site up to date, and prepare a marketing campaign to sell the idea of the community play to participants and the public. If you want to try your hand at photography, graphic design, journalism; or if you simply enjoy meeting and talking to people and are a good communicator, join the marketing team. We also need people to plan, organise and run events

EVENT & PROJECT ORGANISERS & HELPERS
To help with one off events, anything from helping organise events to making coffee, setting up or making.

THE EMPTY GALLERY SUITCASE EXHIBITION
There are so many activities involved in this part of the project involving almost all the other listed tasks for the pay but making an exhibition of suitcases -  making, doing recorded interviews, gallery curators, character guides, storytelling, marketing. More...

PERFORMERS
There will be workshops to help you. The rehearsals run for three months leading up to production. There will be no more than two evening rehearsals of about two hours a week and some Sunday afternoons - unless you accept a very large part.

MUSICIANS/SINGERS
you will get specialist musical direction on original music. An interest in singing should be enough impetus to join the play. Let us know if you play any instruments and the grades you reached where appropriate.

COSTUME & PROP MAKING
Costume makers with any level of skill or varying amounts of free time are needed. You can help make something simple to learn new skills or make a complete and complex costume - there’s also dying, cutting, laundering and pressing.  The play will call for ambitious and imaginative designs. There are all kinds of making opportunities from masks to fifteen-foot puppets and large structural mobile images. We are also looking for good scroungers, carpenters, mechanics, artists etc

STAGE MANAGEMENT
Be part of the stage management team and help run the show and manipulate the large props. Help with lighting, stage building, rigging, sound or front of house.

ADMINISTRATION
Help with the box-office on a rota system or with telephoning, computer and typing tasks. There is a range of administrative tasks connected with the projects co-ordination and play office management
